Hacked
News - ICT
Parking in Zwolle
News - General
Parking in the centre of Zwolle is not easy. The parking place right in front of my house, at the Nieuwe Markt here in Zwolle, is most of the times filled and it takes a few minutes driving to find that out. That's why I have posted the parking area on my website using the webcam that is stationed in my living room.
Bear in mind that parking can only be done for some hours in a row, at certain moments even for just one single hour.

New web server
News - ICT

The VLS web sites are transfered to a new and much faster server. The new server has 16 high speed processors and is capable of resizeing photo material in near real-time, enabling a smooth show enabling users to not know about the heavy processing that is required for this.
The transfer requires not only a transfer of 20 gigabytes of data, but all settings and migration tasks are needed for the linked domain names.
This will most certainly lead to short interruptions in the service of the websites. The mail service, hosted via Google applicatons, will remain fully functional. There can be a slight delay though in the receiption of email.
Please bear with me!
Compliments of the Season!
News - Remarkable
We put some light on top of the Harculo Power Plant, to address the local community and express our respect with a large light show every night. It starts at 4 PM, when it turns dark in Holland (during winter time) and it lasts until 11 PM.
The 120 meter high chimney is lit with a huge laser light show that animates the Compliments of the Season greeting. Furthermore the sky is lit using enormous lights that seem to seek for aliens... very-very bright light-beams indeed!
Happy to work for a company like Electrabel !
Webcam in Zwolle
News - ICT
One of the two active webcams has been moved from my apartment in Zoetermeer to the apartment in Zwolle.
So as of today you can overlook the "Nieuwe Markt" square in Zwolle via the webcam. The image is not crystal clear, but that is intentionally. We do not want people to be able to recognise the people walking in the area...!
